For several years now I have worked with prewar National fingerpicks— analyzing the metal composition, refurbishing, restoring, and making them available to the best players in the business. I’ve finally developed my own pick which pays homage to the old Oval 8s, with close attention given to every detail. Each “Magic 8” fingerpick is hand-shaped and finished by me in my Los Angeles workshop, just a few miles from the original National factory where it all started in the 1928.
